I wanted to make a 
chromo-zone joke, but I couldn’t quite link it.

I put on one of my fall skirts today — this wispy but weighted pinned number— with tights because that felt like a very adult and weather appropriate decision to make. 

However it’s barely 3pm, my legs are itching from the blended nylon, and the sporadic rain showers mean it’s more than just frosty outside.

Dressing for December is depressing. 

A pre-cursor to what will of course be a wildly erratic bout of seasonal depression from January first, to May 22nd.



Because it’s not quite wear-a-balaclava-and-two-pairs-of-gloves season, but it’s also no longer trench-with-the-lining-optional. We’ve all been waiting for her (December) and not that she’s here we’re having a realllll hard time greeting her.
